Senior House League FAQs

Welcome to GKGHA Senior Women’s Team! Here are some FAQs and answers to your questions:

When can I register? June – August

How much does the season cost? $605.00

How long does the season run? End of September – End of February

How many teams are in our league? Six (Total of 64 players)

When do we play? We play throughout various evenings during the week. Each team plays two times a week.

What time are the games at? Games range from start times of 7:00pm – 10:30pm depending on night and arena.

How far will we need to travel?
Home games are held at the Swish Arena at the Invista Center in Kingston, ON, and at the Henderson Arena in Amherstview, ON.

Away games are held at the Frontenac Community Arena in Piccadilly, ON, and at the Constantine Arena on the CFB base in Kingston, ON.

What is the age range of this league? 18+

How many goalies play in the league? 4

What is the calibre/skill level of the league? We have a WIDE range of players within our league: some who are new to the game of hockey, some who have played for years, some who have played house league, some who have played rep/ competitive, and some who have played varsity.

What if I get injured, get pregnant, or move during the season? No refunds will be issued after September 15^th, 2017. Please refer to GKGHA refund policy (link).

How is the senior league run (ie. how can I request to be on a team, do we play in tournaments, etc.)? Please see 2017 revisions made to the House League Plan for information on how the senior league operates.
