The Wemp & Smith Bantam BB Ice Wolves were crowned Champions of the Kanata Rangers 2014 Girls Hockey Tournament.The Wemp & Smith Bantam BB Ice Wolves were crowned Champions of the Kanata Rangers 2014 Girls Hockey Tournament.
The girls went 3 and 1 in 4 very evenly matched games in round robin play. The final game against the host Kanata Team was extremely exciting. Tied 0 - 0 after 5 periods the game was finally decided on the ninth shooter in the shoot out. Emma Schmidt scored the "golden goal" to break the deadlock and Jenna Kane was perfect in goal for the Champs.
We had 6 of top ten scores Aly Kane and Erin Dowling tied for the top and Jenna's GAA was .039 with 3 shut outs.
