GKGHA 3rd Annual Invitational Pre-Season Exhibition Series

GKGHA hosted a very successful Pre-Season Invitational Exhibition Series on August 25th at the Invista Centre. The Exhibition Series was an all day Invitational event which included four Bantam AA teams and four Midget AA teams each participating in their respective divisions. The 8 teams spent the day playing three games each, which allowed them to showcase their skills in front of a variety of NCAA and USports coaches, scouts and recruiters. The event was well attended by U Sports and NCAA teams. Players, parents and scouts enjoyed the day watching some great hockey and future University players.

A Q&A session was held with U Sport coaches Dan Church (York University) and Matt Holmberg (Queen's University) hosting over 100 parents and players in an information session about University Hockey in Canada and Ontario.

Our goal is to grow this event next year. University coaches, scouts and recruiters can expect to see Intermediate AA as well as more Bantam & Midget AA teams participate.
