Silver for PeeWee DS

The Peewee DS team entered their second tournament over the March Break playing in the Leaside March Madness. After finishing first in their pool with 2 wins and tie, they moved on to win their quarter final game in overtime over Oakville.   With a win in the semi finals over Stoney Creek 1-0 they headed to the finals. 

They would meet Whitby in the finals, the same team they played in the finals in the Mississauga tournament over Christmas break. 

They were looking forward to a close game and that is what they got. Whitby went up 1-0 middle of the second. The girls would come back and score which was disallowed because the net was off.

The girls battled hard.  With the goalie pulled, Whitby scored to win the game 2-0.
 
With another impressive tournament, the Peewee DS brings home their second silver medal this year. 
 
They are looking forward to the Brampton Canadettes tournament coming up on Easter weekend. Great job, girls!
